3. Students will use the webquest to locate definitions related to auto insurance. Students will use the following website: http://www.insure.com/auto/coverage.html. This link is found by clicking on the proper webquest location.
4. The definitions will be placed on sheets that are linked to the webquest.
5. Read through all 5 steps on the webpage before continuing.
6. Click on the link provided on the webquest and fill in the worksheet. When finished you will have background knowledge you need to proceed.
7. Using COMPARE/CONTRAST graphic organizer, students will identify auto insurance requirements in NYS and then those requirements of a state of their choice.
8. Extending and Refining—Using the comparison chart, students will draw conclusions about the use of auto insurance.
9. Concluding note to students: Now that you have completed this activity, you have basic knowledge of auto insurance. Please continue to keep up with changes in auto insurance. Would you ever drive without it? Credits & References--A special thanks goes out to all my students for their ability to try “something new” in my classes this year. You’ve been great!!!
